Charter Steel is seeking a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment to join our team as a full-time Slitter Operator. The Slitter Operator’s main responsibility is to operate a steel slitter machine in order to produce material according to instructions, work orders and customer specifications. A sense of teamwork, attention to detail, safety awareness and process knowledge are all critical to regular equipment inspection and operation.

3 or more years of slitter Set-Up or Slitter Operator experience along with strong reading, writing, mathematical and computer skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
